Day 14 of the Yoga Commitment
No video or DVD or televisual aids of any kind today. Instead I went back to basics – just me and my mat and whatever came up for me once I sat there. I ended up creating this strange little warrior 1 to warrior 3 then warrior 2 to side angle stretch flow sequence, all linked with some deep Ocean Breaths, as described by my breathing guru Max Strom in “A Life worth Breathing”.
This form of breathing is critical to our practice as it embodies our highest ideal, heals and energizes the body, harmonizes the nervous system, and heals and enlivens our spirit.
